welcome home

Dear Valley Harvest family…

April 7, 2008

How blessed we are in this family! I have been privileged to see brothers and sisters in the Lord ministering to one another on a daily basis. This is what the Bible talks about when “one anothering” is mentioned. When we live with His passion we will have love for one another and a heart for the lost. I have been pleased to see God’s Spirit move in all of our gatherings. From the Sunday worship celebrations to midweek Bible studies and ministries, The Spirit is ministering to those who are hungry for His Word and thirsty for His Presence. We’ve had such a large percentage of our people involved in our different midweek ministries and I’m grateful for that. At the same time, I’m disappointed and even saddened by those that I know would benefit and be blessed from taking advantage of what our church offers.

We are now taking a few weeks to do a study on what the church believes…our Articles Of Faith. If you have been wondering why we stand where we stand on Biblical statements, please take advantage of this opportunity. Soon we will be going through our “Covenant To The Fellowship” and seeing the benefits of being a part of His Church Family and building the Kingdom of God together.

Please be in prayer for the leadership of the church and the ministries that take place on a daily basis. Also pray about where God can use you in building His Kingdom. He has a place of service for everyone and spiritual fulfillment is found in walking in His Will for your life and service. Let’s be obedient and enjoy all the blessings God wants to shower down on us!

In closing, I want to express how important it is for you to attend the Annual Church Meeting, Sunday 6pm on May 11th. We will be sharing important information about where we are as a fellowship and God’s direction for the future. If you call Valley Harvest Church your church….please plan to be there. Have a great day being used by Him.

Your friend and pastor…Joe

*Website Update - You can now access the youth group pictures from either the link at the top of this page, from the youth website, or just by clicking here. If you have any pictures you want added to the church picture album or the youth picture album, mail them to nick@nickhand.net thanks! Also, I’m aware there were many issues with the site displaying horridly in Internet Explorer, and those issues should now be fixed, so it should be all perdy for everyone!
